Activity Reason Text :	11/08/2021 Regan Taylor: Cory Hassel called to report that the IDOT project is finished and that they are going back onto 100% water from Centrial 01/28/2019: Steve Vance: It looks like the Village of Hoffman will be switching sources from Centralia to Carlyle for approximately 1 year. Both systems use chloramines, but I¿m not sure about similarities of other water quality parameters. Contacted Perry White. He stated that the City of Centralia shut off Hoffman¿s water with no notice of Friday night. The local operator contacted Perry Sunday morning because he noticed that water levels in the storage tank were getting low. The system contacted Jason Green from Hoffman Rural. Jason agreed that it would be fine to switch Hoffman over to the rural system. The local operator flushed the interconnection before opening. Both Centralia and Hoffman Rural (which gets their water from Carlyle) are using chloramines. The operator tested the chlorine residual in the system on Sunday after the interconnection had been opened. He had a 2.3 mg/l total. This switch is a result of IDOT removing and replacing a bridge located on Route 161. IDOT has an estimated completion date of approximately one year. Hoffman will remain on Hoffman Rural water until they receive information from the City of Centralia that they may switch back over. JL	Activity Status Date :	01-28-2019
